ABLE Research Consultants respectfully acknowledges that we live and work on the ancestral and unceded territories of the diverse Indigenous Nations in the province colonially known as British Columbia. We acknowledge that there are over 200 distinct Nations with over 60 dialects. We also recognize that our research and consulting work takes place across many Indigenous territories throughout Canada. We acknowledge the enduring presence, knowledge systems, and stewardship of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples, and we recognize that these lands have never been surrendered.
Our offices are located on the lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Tsleil-Waututh, Kwantlen, Katzie, Semiahmoo, and Tsawwassen Nations
As a research organization, we are committed to working with humility, respect, and relational accountability, and to supporting practices that honour Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and learning.
